  WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Iwas treated with care and kindness...and all tests were done finally finding out the problem. ALL STAFF WERE CARING and efficient. I am a visitor to this area...and hope for this area this hospital will never be closed. It would be a huge mistake.

  This place is a joke. Longest wait times known to man kind. I don't know why they even have a hospital. How do you rate -5 stars?

  After the experience at Hervey Bay hospital for the same complaint..and getting very poor treatment and care..found I needed to go into A &E again...this time to Maryborough Hospital

  Wonderful efficient staff. I recently spent an overnight stay in AE and I could not have asked for anything better....So grateful we still have an AE.

  24th April I was taken to Maryborough Hospital by Ambulance, very very sick. I can not fault the nurses and doctors that cared for me. They worked, thought and tried everything they could to help me when there was no knowledge of my prognosis. I ended up in Hervey Bay hospital for 5 days after my 12 hours at Maryborough. l left the Sunshine Coast to live up here and the care at Maryborough far exceeded Caloundra hospital. Hervey Bay still don't know what is wrong other than I have an infection in my blood and I am still sick. I had blood tests and a lumbar puncture. The nurses I had there were all so lovely except one.
